Adult Prevention Education
We believe that women and families of all ages should know what resources are available for planning a healthy and stable family. Our adult education session reviews the importance of family planning, all birth control options, and the steps to receiving access to free long-acting reversible contraception (LARC, including the birth control implant and IUDs). This session can range from 30-60 minutes depending on allotted time and will be led by one trained A Step Ahead staff member. This session can be co-ed or single gender.
These education sessions are great for recovery programs, job-training programs, Adult-Education programs, re-entry programs, court programs, and so many more.
